Creating Agents
Three ways to create a new AI voice agent.
Navigate to Agents → New Agent to create a voice agent. ZenTalk offers three creation methods.
Templates
Start from a pre-built agent with optimized prompts and settings:

Each template comes with a tailored system prompt, welcome message, and recommended settings.
Blank Agent
Start from scratch with full control:
- Enter a name and optional description
- Write a system prompt defining the agent's personality and behavior
- Set a welcome message — what the agent says when a call starts
- Choose providers (defaults to OpenAI + Deepgram)
AI Generated
Describe your agent in plain English and let AI generate the configuration:
- Enter a description like "A friendly pizza ordering assistant that takes orders and confirms delivery details"
- ZenTalk generates:
- Agent name
- System prompt
- Welcome message
- Review and edit before saving
All agents are created with these defaults:
- LLM: OpenAI gpt-4o
- STT: Deepgram nova-3-general
- TTS: Deepgram aura-2-helena-en
- Status: Active
